What Steph Curry said about LeBron James reaching NBA Finals again

For the better part of the last calendar year, the Cavs' franchise has experienced no shortage of ups and downs - slow climbs and faster falls - and yet James and Co. still find themselves in the same place they started this ride last June, en route to a fourth straight NBA Finals.

Monday night, downtown will be insane again for another Game 7 as the Rockets look to beat the defending World Champion Warriors in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.

When it comes to the LeBron James-Michael Jordan debate, count Hall of Fame member and two-time National Basketball Association champion Isiah Thomas as Team LeBron.

Much has been made of LeBron James leading a less-than-stellar supporting cast to the NBA Finals, with some arguing that it's the greatest achievement in a career that includes three NBA championships and eight straight Finals appearances. "That's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Russell".

But Golden State's defense finally came to grips with the Most Valuable Player candidate, limiting him to only 10 points in a second half in which the Warriors outscored the Rockets 64-25.

Celtics: Tatum is the first rookie to have 10 or more playoff games with at least 20 points since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1970.

Al Horford finished with 17 points and Jaylen Brown had 13 but he was just three-of-12 from the three-point line. They're 7-2 in Houston this postseason with one of their losses coming in Game 1 of this series.

Houston Rockets release limited seats ahead of Game 7 tonight
This will surely a great and entertaining game and has the potential to wrap up going down as the best of the entire postseason. Not all that surprising since the loss will become insignificant to the Rockets if they can close out game 7 at home anyway.

Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals between Cleveland and Boston on Sunday had all the makings of great theater in a wonderful venue. A Cleveland win further cements LeBron's legacy and they will have done it without Kevin Love who is in concussion protocol.

James dropped 17 points and went 6-of-12 from the field in the first half, scoring almost half of Clevelands first half points. He did everything the Cavs needed him to do and more. We were in really good shape, really good shape - and then we just couldn't quite extend the lead.

The Rockets aren't dwelling on their missed opportunity to close out the series as they get ready for Monday's game where they'll try to punch their ticket to finals for the first time since winning back-to-back titles in 1995-95. I mean, it's an every-single-day work ethic that I have while I'm playing this game, while I have the ability to play this game at this level.

James went flying into the stands with less than nine minutes left in the first quarter trying to deflect a full-court pass out of bounds.

"I say this with no disrespect to Jordan", Thomas began.

But in the early going it looked like the Warriors would do just that.
