Turner Broadcasting System's TNT hold the exclusive rights to broadcast the Warriors vs. Rockets Game 7 showdown nationally. This will surely a great and entertaining game and has the potential to wrap up going down as the best of the entire postseason. In the second half, the Warriors outscored the Rockets 66-25 on their to a 115-86 blowout win in game six.
Golden State is attempting to reach the finals for the fourth straight year, while Houston seeks to break a two-decade drought in reaching the NBA's biggest stage. Even without injured star point guard Chris Paul, Houston came out of the gate scorching, hitting 8-of-12 from distance in the opening quarter while the Warriors connected on just 1-of-7 from behind the three-point arc. Harden had to rest during a run by Golden State in the fourth quarter and Houston clearly lacked someone that could dominate the ball and score points.
Should the Rockets make it to the NBA Finals, Eric Gordon will inherit most of Paul's minutes. That's where you can get $5 beers, $2 sodas, $2 popcorn and $2 hot dogs. He asked, rhetorically, if the Rockets would take a Game 7 on their home court against the Warriors and, in a heartbeat, D'Antoni acknowledged the benefit of that scenario.
"I think it's a game-time decision", D'Antoni added.
Ireland Votes to Repeal Abortion Ban
Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar says the country has voted resoundingly Yes to liberalise its strict abortion laws. At least 170,000 Irish women are thought to have left the country to have abortions since 1980.
And while it's easy enough to say that the Warriors simply shot better Saturday, there was a bit more to it than just that.
It just took a lot of pressure from a Rockets team to get Golden State into that mental frame of mind. Not all that surprising since the loss will become insignificant to the Rockets if they can close out game 7 at home anyway.
Then the second half started, and soon after, the Warriors blew the game wide open. If not, a repeat of Game 6 could be in the works.
Shooting 49.4 percent from the floor, including 16 of 38 on 3-pointers while producing 26 assists on 43 field goals, the Warriors again featured the offense that ran roughshod over the National Basketball Association. "They will, tomorrow morning, re-evaluate it again, probably tomorrow afternoon, again".
