New York Giants get draft steal, Hog Molly in Will Hernandez

Former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft on Thursday night - landing with the New York Giants.

Coming off a 3-13 season that cost coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese their jobs, the Giants seemingly found value and filled need with every pick in the National Football League draft that ended Saturday.

Barring a trade for a late pick, which could potentially be acquired if general manager Dave Gettleman can find a taker for tackle Ereck Flowers, the Giants will have two more cracks at adding contributors before turning their focus to undrafted free agents.

From Round 3 through Round 5, they continued to meet value with need, selecting linebacker Lorenzo Carter, defensive tackle B.J. Hill, quarterback Kyle Lauletta and defensive lineman R.J. McIntosh. Carter is a fast and strong edge rusher who can set the edge against the pass or the run. Taking Lauletta in the fourth round also shows the team wants backup Davis Webb, the third-round pick past year, to have competition in training camp.

Apple Is Done With 3D Touch, Says Trusted Analyst
The bigger question now is whether Apple can keep ramping up revenue from other sources, most importantly its services division. Come Fall this year, Apple is expected to release a 6.5-inch iPhone as well as a refreshed version of the iPhone X .

The Giants offensive line struggled last season with injuries and poor play.

NFL Network draft analyst Lance Zierlein compared Hernandez with four-time Pro Bowler Richie Incognito. And with Manning's presnap IQ, the Giants can check in and out of the right run plays.

Btw 26 in the big blue jersey WILLL be the number one sellin Jersey in America next year. Or, they can check into passes and different formations, since Barkley is risky as a receiver. With Eli Apple coming off a bad season and Janoris Jenkins returning from ankle surgery, a cornerback would help.
