Wahl, a production manager at a food-service company who only moved in July to New Jersey from MI with his family, said he would use a financial team to help decide how to dole the money out between his family, friends and others. It was only the second time he had ever played the lottery.
As Wahl checked his ticket during the Mega Millions drawing on March 30, he saw that the first five "easy pick" numbers matched the ones drawn and he was elated.
He told reporters on Friday about the moment when he learned he was the victor, during the March 30 drawing. "It was truly unbelievable".
