U.S. man shot in head while on Facebook live

On Sunday, a couple of friends in Houston took to Facebook Live to playfully idle with each other in a local gas station parking lot. Footage of the incident that is making the rounds on social media does not show the actual shooting, but instead depicts the moments afterwards as Holmes was slumped over, unresponsive, and covered in blood.

Police said Holmes, 26, was in the vehicle with Damper, 25, and another man, when the woman began pointing the gun at the camera.

Holmes could reportedly be heard in the video telling the woman holding a handgun that she was making him nervous.

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot in the head by his friends who were playing with guns in a live Facebook broadcast on Easter Sunday.

The unidentified male passenger in the auto has not been charged.

Damper claimed that she was unaware the gun was loaded in an interview with authorities.

More charges may be filed against the woman, but for now she is just charged with tampering or fabricating evidence.

The other man in the video has not been charged.

Houston police told KPRC-TV that they were investigating the incident as an accidental shooting but it will ultimately be for a grand jury to decide the outcome.
