Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced his arrival in Major League Soccer with two goals on his debut, including an injury-time victor, as the Los Angeles Galaxy fought back from 3-0 down to beat Los Angeles FC 4-3 yesterday morning (Singapore time).

A Daniel Steres own goal would make it 3-0 to FC at the Stubhub Center before the Galaxy struck back in an unbelievable 15 minute spell through goals from Sebastian Lleget, Chris Pontius and then Zlatan Ibrahimovic. And, after he was involved in the build-up for Chris Pontius' header, the Swede struck.

Ibrahimovic won it with a header in the opening seconds of stoppage time after tying the match at 3 in the 77th minute when he caught LAFC goalkeeper Tyler Miller out of his goal and scored on a 40-yard kick. "They were pushing me and I was giving back". "I said I would not let it down today, I will score also today", Ibrahimovic said.

"I heard the crowd saying 'We want Zlatan, we want Zlatan, ' he said".

"Don't worry about my age; when I came to England they all said I was old".

The Swede's second goal in extra time sealed a 4-3 win for his new side.

"Ibrahimovic is the ideal definition of a guy who always dares to be brilliant", Schmid said.

It was a stunning reversal after the first meeting between the first-year expansion team and five-time MLS Cup winners was a rout in favor of the newcomers in the first half, with Carlos Vela scoring twice.

'That's got to be a goal that's going to go around the world.

Ibrahimovic then popped up with a victor in the 91st minute. Victor by 1-0 and 5-1 in its first games on the road, LAFC jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead and led 3-0 after an hour. But an own goal by a Galaxy player had compounded their problems as their hopes of levelling the game looked bleak.
