Warriors' Kevin Durant Out Two Weeks With Injury

The Golden State Warriors are already without two of their four All-Stars for the forseeable future, and now Kevin Durant has to be added to the injury list.

On Wednesday, Durant scored 26 points, as the Warriors beat the Los Angeles Lakers 117-106.

Curry missed his fourth straight game Friday after re-injuring his troublesome right ankle.

Golden State will remain without both the two-time NBA Most Valuable player Curry and Thompson for road games against the Suns and the Spurs (Monday). "Kevin Durant underwent an MRI today that revealed an incomplete rib cartilage fracture". So they'll have some time to play together before it really counts.

The number one seed will likely go to Houston, but Golden State's quartet of All-Stars won't be fazed by losing home court should they face off against the Rockets in the Western conference finals. "That's the most important thing". In 60 games, Green finds himself among the league leaders in rebounds (7.9) and assists per game (7.4).

"It was a little sore the next couple of days but not something I was anxious about", Durant said.

Britain launches murder probe into death of Russian exile Nikolai Glushkov
The Russian embassy has said it sought Glushkov's extradition in 2015, but the British government refused, Sky News reported. The anti-Putin Russian exile who was found dead in London earlier this week was murdered, British police have confirmed.

"We've just got to survive this next slate of games and hopefully start getting guys back and get rolling again for the playoffs", Kerr said.

Right now, there's a 9.5-game gap between the Warriors and Blazers.

Klay Thomson is out with a fractured right thumb.

Thompson is averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, all slightly above his career averages.

"With Klay and Steph out, what's that, about 75 shots that are not going to be available on most nights that are suddenly there?" he said.
