Kelly Ripa Voices Her Support for Ryan Seacrest Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

The presenter has recently hit headlines after his former personal stylist Suzie Hardy accused him of sexual harassment, allegations he was cleared of following an extensive investigation by E!.

Kelly Ripa praised her co-host Ryan Seacrest. He replied, "You don't mind, do you?"

"Umm, I don't know", Lawrence said, working through her feelings. I can do that.

But as the TV personality faces an allegation of sexual harassment from a former E! Seacrest has repeatedly denied the claims. While E! found insufficient evidence after investigating the claims against Seacrest and plan to keep him as red carpet host this Sunday evening, it's likely that the drama isn't over quite yet. "It shows there are some serious cracks in their relationship". She says that she was subjected to years worth of abuse from Seacrest, including incidents of Seacrest rubbing his erect penis on her while only wearing underwear, non-consensual groping of her genitals and non-consensual spanking. After all, couldn't you just see someone like Reese Witherspoon or Natalie Portman asking Seacrest about his own sexual misconduct allegations on the live show?

Whether Seacrest is guilty or not is hard to tell since apparently there were no witnesses to the act and he is of course denying that it ever happened.

But an E! spokesperson has defended the process, describing it as "comprehensive and thorough".

E! confirmed to People Tuesday that Seacrest, 43, will host the red carpet pre-show for the network.

On Monday, Variety published new details on the allegations, first put forth in November by Suzie Hardy, Seacrest's stylist at E! from 2006 to 2013.

Seacrest's gig hosting red carpet coverage on Sunday has stirred some controversy, with Jennifer Lawrence saying she isn't sure she'll stop to talk with him. "Any claims that question the legitimacy of this investigation are completely baseless".

E! News conducted an investigation after the network became aware of the accusations against Seacrest, and on February 1 said that "insufficient evidence" was found to support the allegations. I'm not a judge.
