Dan Fegan, 56, died after getting into a fatal auto crash in Aspen, Colorado.
The Colorado State Patrol tells The Aspen Times that Fegan was driving an SUV when he tried to merge onto a highway and was broadsided by a commuter bus near Aspen, which is about 180 miles west of Denver.
Two passengers in the vehicle, including Fegan's five-year-old son, were also hospitalized in the crash.
The collision happened just after 9:30 a.m. local time when Fegan's SUV attempted to merge onto the highway. Those on the bus - the driver and one passenger - were not injured.
Erica Robbie of The Aspen Times reported the news. It is also the year Fegan signed an estimated $582.7 million in contracts for 17 clients. Fegan had represented many National Basketball Association players, including John Wall, Demarcus Cousins and Dwight Howard. "It created a hard situation, but Fegan was determined to do what he thought was best for his client", Jeff Zillgitt wrote. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this hard time'.
