The actress Salma Hayek has claimed Harvey Weinstein threatened to "break" her kneecaps during a campaign of abuse she suffered at the hands of the movie producer.

Salma Hayek revealed more disturbing details from her experience working with Harvey Weinstein - including more threats of physical violence.

"According to, while speaking to Oprah Winfrey during Oprah's Super Soul Conversation Live Event, she said, "(The New York Times) contacted me to be a part of the first story and already by this contact, there was all this turmoil and I started crying when they asked and I ended up not doing it. "When it came out, then I was ashamed that I didn't speak up", she expressed. I was supporting women for two decades but I couldn't do this...

"I arrived on the set the day we were to shoot the scene that I believed would save the movie", she wrote. "I thought of the shame (sic)".

She added at the same time that the thought of adding her name to really long list of possible victims of Harvey Weinstein scandal wouldn't make a huge difference.

A spokesperson for Weinstein said in a statement provided to E!

Witherspoon also spoke to Winfrey recently as part of Super Soul Sunday, where she opened up about leaving an abusive relationship.

Cavaliers to send Dwyane Wade back to Heat
Basically: Wade wanted this. "The Cavs did right by him", said a league source, who's close to James and Wade. Nightlife had just finished brewing a new beer the morning they heard the Heat had traded for Wade.

"[Harvey] told me he wanted to kill me".

She continued: "Since those around me had no knowledge of my history of Harvey, they were very surprised by my struggle that morning".

Hayek said in her December op-ed that Weinstein harassed her over the course of five years. "And then when so the women came out. But I felt like my pain was so small compared to all the other stories". "Did something happen to you?' Nobody said anything at the time". "As in most collaborative projects, there was creative friction on Frida, but it served to drive the project to perfection". However, his conflict was with Julie Taymor not Ms. Hayek.

During a taping of Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations on Wednesday, Hayek told Oprah Winfrey that she was approached by the New York Times, which broke the first story about the allegations against Weinstein, to come forward with her story earlier.

Weinstein has denied all accusations of non-consensual sex but has not yet responded to a request for comment on Hayek's latest claims.

Salma Hayek and Oprah speak onstage during "Oprah's Super Soul Conversations" at The Apollo Theater on February 7, 2018 in NY. (It should be pointed out that Weinstein took advantage of her sense of powerlessness by repeatedly telling her that she was a "nobody", which is its own kind of devastating abuse.) But her story is certainly brutal, nonetheless. Mr. Weinstein has great respect for her as an actress and a producer and thinks there are many more "Frida's" for her to produce in the future and that she doesn't need anyone to help her - She's terrific by herself'.
