Nancy Kerrigan, the Olympic skater targeted in the 1994 baton attack chronicled in I, Tonya, says she hasn't seen the film yet.

There's been plenty of buzz about the film "I, Tonya" but the woman at the center of the controversy that brought down skater Tonya Harding isn't contributing to it. I haven't seen the movie.

Do you remember Tonya Harding?

Both I, Tonya and the Times profile blame the scandal on abuse Harding received from not just her mother and ex-husband, but also from the media.

Tonya Harding's two-hour special, Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story, had no shortage of shocking moments when it aired on January 11. Unlike her competitors, Harding and her family couldn't afford the nicest outfits and makeup money could buy.

Tonya Harding's story is the flawless vehicle for this commentary, but the film also serves to restore humanity to a long lived pop culture villain.

"You weren't letting me finish", she replied.

Like a Christopher Guest mockumentary, "I, Tonya" lets plenty of people weigh in - from her coaches to detractors.

State capture inquiry: PP available to compile terms of reference
The ANC's elective conference in Johannesburg last month ruled the inquiry should be expedited. Mlambo said there was no basis for Zuma's application to interdict the release of the report.

But it wasn't Harding who attacked the Olympic hopeful.

"I don't know, " said Kerrigan. "Spanked? Yes, [I] spanked". "Spanked? Yes, spanked. Absolutely positively, you got to show them right from wrong".

Piers Morgan's interview with former ice skater Tonya Harding was cut short after being subjected to intense scrutiny. Kerrigan has been open about suffering multiple miscarriages in the time between having Matthew and Brian, which she revealed while appearing on Dancing With The Stars. Don Ryan, AP Left to right: Kristi Yamaguchi, Tonya Harding, and Nancy kerrigan on the podium during the 1991 US Figure Skating Championships. "We had a handsome new trailer", said Ms Golden. "We didn't live in filth or dirt or anything that I would call unusual".

This image released by Neon shows Allison Janney as LaVona Golden from "I, Tonya". He tried everywhere, everywhere led to a dead end. "She came up to me ... and said, 'Wow, you were my mother". She may well have been more deeply involved than that; the Federal Bureau of Investigation found a paper in her handwriting that passed along details of Kerrigan's practice location and schedule to others involved in the crime. "That was a team I should have been part of, not because I was good enough then, but I just got along with them so well".

However, Harding said that she won't be apologizing any more for the incident. "Not a good one", Harding said, claiming that her mother would drink a lot when she was growing up (Golden said she put brandy flavoring in it, which didn't make her drunk.) Golden was described as a mother who put her daughter down to get her to perform.

Janney applies a heavy dose of profanity and sarcasm to her maternal dehumanization of her tiny daughter, who from age 4 is winning championships and surviving her mom's demeaning comments (they are brutal) and beatings (they are worse).

Harding also told ABC News that she is done apologizing.
