Bridges was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 on Wednesday. The announcement was made by ESPNW and the Wooden Award on Thursday.

The senior guard Berry was one of the players listed in the preseason watch list and has put together a fine season for the Tar Heels. He has nine double-double games (double digits in scoring and assists), has scored at least 20 points in 14 of his 15 games and 30 or more points five times this season. Inclusion on the list means that Bridges is among the frontrunners for the award, but the award victor does not need to be on the midseason top 25. She is shooting 68.8 percent from the field and 83.5 percent from the free throw line. She is one Player of the Week award away from tying Ohio State's Jantel Lavender for the most Player of the Week awards in a single season (6, 2010-11). Young already ranks in the top 10 among all-time OU freshmen in numerous categories for season totals, sitting at seventh in points (438), second in assists (153), third in made 3-pointers (58) and fourth in made foul shots (126).

Players must have a 2.0 grade-point average to be considered.
