But the offense has been unable to match last year's productivity, dropping from first to 15th in scoring as opponents have held five-time Pro Bowl receiver Julio Jones to just three touchdowns. Atlanta is the playoff savvy team here but they are a much different team and I think the Rams just have the swagger this season and with Gurley good to go I think he makes the difference and gives the Rams a close cover. Taking tremendous strides after a drama-filled rookie season, Goff has led the Rams to the top of all offenses in football. Gurley finished with 101 yards on 14 carries, though 61 yards came in the fourth quarter.

That doesn't exactly scream "experience", so the Rams have to be wary of their young players in a big spot.

Atlanta once again saw strong special teams play. Cooper bobbled several other kicks as jitters were clearly a factor.

The Rams defense, affectionately known as the "Mob Squad", looked rested and spry on defense as they put constant pressure on Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

Leigh Corfman, who accused Roy Moore of molestation, files lawsuit against him
Moore has repeatedly denied the allegations made by Corfman and other women of unwanted romantic or sexual advances. Corfman's lawsuit asks Moore and his campaign to pay legal fees but does not ask for monetary compensation.

This isn't last season's version of the Falcons, which boasted one of the greatest offences of all-time.

The Rams reached the postseason by winning the NFC West. They made the playoffs for the first time since 2004 after going 4-12 last season. Minnesota is 13-3, but are you going to trust a playoff team with quarterback Case Keenum, who couldn't cut it in his first four National Football League seasons with Houston or the Rams? Quarterback Matt Ryan, who hails from Exton, Pennsylvania and played his high school ball at Philadelphia's Penn Charter, won NFL MVP honors but completed just 18 of 33 passes for 267 yards that day with a touchdown and an interception for a season-low 78.7 passer rating. He also posted a new personal best in yards per catch (13.9).

It's testament to the Falcons' toughness and leadership that they find themselves back in the play-offs this year with a 10-6 record despite being plagued by inconsistency.
