Justin Timberlake Announces 'Earthy' New Album Inspired By Wife And Son

The project is his first album in almost five years, and it's set for release on February 2, two days before he headlines the 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Although it's been a few years since his last album, Justin Timberlake has still been a busy man.

New year to start with 'supermoon' on January 2
This second full moon of the month-also called a blue moon-is also a lunar eclipse and according to NASA , it's "extra special". For those still nursing a hangover the night of January 1, an even more intriguing supermoon will rise the night of January 31.

This will be the Tennessee natives first new music since "Can't Stop the Feeling", which debuted in May 2016 and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. He says this album is his most personal album yet, proving that every other album was created by an imaginary Justin Timberlake. Not sure...but in the trailer Pharrell says it "sounds so earthy". What little we do hear of the album in the trailer backs this up, as some of the poppier synths have been switched out for a more acoustic sound.

Based on the one minute teaser above, this totally looks like the musical version of The Revenant.

This will be the actor's first appearance at the Super Bowl since his 2004 halftime performance with Janet Jackson, which no one could ever forget. The album's release during Super Bowl week will add fuel to the rumors that Timberlake might play a secret/unannounced show somewhere in town that week.
