Sarah Palin's son charged with domestic assault on father

According to court records obtained by the Anchorage Daily News, Mrs. Palin called police Saturday night from her Wasilla home to report that her 28-year-old Track Palin was "freaking out and was on some type of medication".

Todd Palin said he told Track Palin not to come but that his son said he would come anyway to beat him up.

The son of former Alaska governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Track Palin, was arrested for domestic violence over the weekend.

The affidavit states that Todd Palin was bleeding from cuts on his head.

Track Palin told police he broke a window, disarmed his father and put him on the ground. The dispute began when he called to say he wanted to come get the truck, and his father refused, according to court documents.

No attorney was listed for Track Palin.

In the first phase of elections, the polling was conducted on 89 seats in the areas falling under Saurashtra and South Gujarat. The battle is nearly done with as the second phase of voting ended on Thursday, all eyes will be on the results now.

Her son was arrested on charges of felony burglary, assault in the fourth degree and criminal mischief on Saturday.

The incident is not his first arrest related to domestic violence.

He took a plea deal that resulted in some of the charges being dismissed, and he pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm while intoxicated, a misdemeanour.

While interacting with the media, Sarah Palin said, "What my own son is going through, what he is going through coming back, I can relate to other families who feel ramifications of PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with".

He has remained in jail on Monday in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Palin was also arrested in January 2016 on domestic violence and weapons charges after allegedly hitting his girlfriend.
