Sources have confirmed to TVLine that NBC has scheduled the revival of the hit workplace mockumentary comedy series for the 2018/19 season.

Creator Greg Daniels is reportedly attached to the project and a search for the new cast is underway.

Steve Carell, who starred in NBC's American version of the United Kingdom sitcom, is not set to be involved in the new show. I've talked to Greg [Daniels, producer and writer of The Office US] four times over the past few years.

"It's always, 'Maybe someday, but not now".

Conor McGregor says his next fight will be in UFC
Even though the UFC intends to offer McGregor a new deal, he is still under exclusive contract with the promotion. Then, while fielding other questions about his next move, McGregor said " MMA next".

NBC is looking to revive The Office for the 2018-2019 television season, with the network already said to be looking for a new Michael Scott to lead the possible revival. It followed the everyday lives of employees of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton Pennsylvania. "If he wants to do it, I would do it", he said.

NBC's The Office itself was a remake of the British The Office, which ran for two series in the United Kingdom before the American remake debuted in 2005.

But NBC has reason to be in the revival business after successfully relaunching Will & Grace this fall.

While there were no details given about which familiar cast members would be involved, you can get a pretty good idea of who won't be coming back if you watched the show. The show - which made stars out of Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Craig Robinson, Ellie Kemper and Mindy Kaling, among others - was an awards-season staple, taking home multiple Emmys, Golden Globes and other top prizes.
