A video of a Louisiana 16-year-old and his classmates exploding with joy after finding out about his acceptance to Harvard University has gone viral.

In the video posted to Twitter, Ayrton Little dons Harvard red, the viewer watching him as he peers at his own screen, waiting to see whether he got into his dream school.

Alexander sent the video to Love What Matters.

The video shows the Breaux Bridge, La., resident wearing a Harvard sweater and surrounded by classmates at TM Landry College Preparatory while he checks his admission status online.

Little told The Huffington Post he plans to study math and computer science, and when he graduates wants to "find a job on Wall Street with the intention of opening a nonprofit to help children from my community get to the position that I'm now in". The siblings say that despite living 30 minutes away from the school, they have spent many long days at the school working towards this moment. He just got into Harvard! Our desire is to do great things, but to also push each other to the point we have now reached.

Godspeed to both brothers, whose passions for education will no doubt make the world a better place. He said: "All the hard work was worth it".

Ayrton later said, "I'm happy I got into Harvard but I'm even happier because I've made my mother incredibly proud". "My intended major [at Stanford] is physics, with a minor in computer science".
