The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: This Is All Of It

That's because the ZR1 comes with an exclusive 6.2-liter supercharged V8 LT5 engine good for a meaty 755 horsepower (563 kilowatts) at 6,300 rpm and a rocket-ship 715 pound-feet (969 Newton-meters) of maximum torque at 4,400 rpm. The ZR1 will be available with a choice of either a 7-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic for the first time. Because of the American supercar's ability to hit such an insane speed, Chevrolet engineers have created two new aero packages to help with downforce. The standard rear wing generates a purported 70 percent more downforce than the Z06's standard aerodynamics package; equipped as such, the ZR1 can exceed 210 miles per hour, GM says.

Chevrolet will start selling the 2019 Corvette ZR1 in Spring 2018.

A pre-bailout Chevrolet just revealed their fastest production car-the Corvette ZR1.

755 horsepower is plenty to get a 3,524 pound coupe going very, very quickly in a straight line, and the 2019 Corvette ZR1 doesn't disappoint.

Tennessee AD Comments On Butch Jones Firing
Tennessee last won an SEC championship in 1998, the same year the Vols won the national championship with an unbeaten 13-0 record. Jones' firing comes one day after Tennessee (4-6, 0-6) fell 50-17 at Missouri for its fifth loss in its last six games.

If you're after blazing quick laps on the track, go for the High Wing setup that boasts 60 percent more downforce (at an estimated 430kg) than the Z06 fitted with the Z07 Performance Package.

General Motors (GM) also stated that the 2019 Corvette ZR1 is the most carbon-fiber-packed GM vehicle to date. And two rear wing styles are available, each tied directly to the car's chassis as in the Corvette C7.R racing vehicle.

One thing is certain: The all-new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will not have that problem. As you'd expect, the system generates massive amounts of heat, so there are four separate radiators and 13 total heat-exchange units. The two-way adjustable high wing is part of a new ZTK performance package that also includes a front splitter with carbon fiber end caps, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 summer-only tires and Magnetic Ride Control tuning for increased grip.

Another option will be a Sebring Orange design package that combines Sebring orange paint with matching brake calipers and accent stripes for the splitter and rocker and, inside, orange seat belts, stitching, and bronze aluminum interior trim. Other add-ons available to buyers include a carbon-fibre-rimmed steering wheel, competition sport seats, a performance data recorder and a Bose premium audio system. The price of the auto was not yet announced, but it will likely be a six-figure price, even before dealers add markup.
