While the HTC U11 has a classic screen, the HTC U11 Plus codenamed as HTC Ocean Master will flaunt a near-bezel-less screen. In fact, rumours also claimed that three new smartphones will launch before the end of 2017. So, what is rumored to be in store for the HTC U11 Plus release date? We speculate that like the HTC U11 and HTC U Ultra smartphones, the U11 Plus will be also arriving with a premium design. The Edge Sense technology which debuted with the HTC U11 will supposedly make a return with the U11 Plus, i.e. the smartphone is said to have a pressure-sensitive frame which can recognize when the user is squeezing it and identify different levels of pressure exerted on it, then use that information to trigger various modifiable actions, essentially acting as a physical shortcut mechanism.

A report from French website Frandroid, which is usually a reliable source for HTC leaks said that the company is working on the U11 Plus flagship smartphone, which would replace the HTC U11.

It will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. This is a strong indicator that the HTC U11 Plus will have a bezel-less design.
